hmail server has been working fine for months. All of the sudden I become people reporting that letters with attached documents are not going through and sometimes getting to thier destination afterwards 4-5 hours. This is no incertitude hmail on a retry finally existence able to deliver the e-mail. The mistake is as follows:

This has been happening since last night effectually 10pm. We use Google apps for business and at that place was a reported service interruption yesterday according to the dashboard. I take set me retires to 5 infinitesimal intervals from sixty minutes. I would merely like to be pointed in the correct direction to figuring this out. i have seen other posts on this board that address the same error number just with the text "Temporary local trouble." Notwithstanding similar I said this ready has been working bully for months and I take been very happy with it. Patently the server has a static address.

The business machine is a multifunction device that uses one of our Google Apps accounts considering the machine doesn't support SSL inherently and so information technology has to pass through Hmail to connect to the business relationship.

Any assistance appreciated.

421 is a temp fail meaning trying once again afterwards just like the response says. Yous'd need to contact the recipient to confirm if there is really a trouble or not only it's their terminate responding to you so simply they tin can tell you the real reason the message is being delayed.

Thank you for the response. This was my first thought since this is listed equally a response from the remote server which in this instance is our Google apps smtp server. I would completely understand asking them nearly thier power recive mail wich I take and have not got an answer for as of nevertheless. However, I go the same error sporadically when trying to send mail to other people within my domain. This seems like a Google issue. They had bouts of unavailability yesterday and Postini services were unavailable for quite some fourth dimension. That was yesterday morning though at 8am. I have a support ticket in with Google and I wanted to make sure that it wasn't something cleaved on my end. Like I said hMail has been running like nothing less and then a champ for me without issue ever since I fix information technology up.

One thing I practise non take set upward is an SPF record with My Google Apps Domain. I have not had to accept this upward to this point and this was what was recommended by Google support. Has anyone had to get through this step before with SPF records and is it a setup step that I completely missed?

You should not get a 421 sending locally unless yous are relaying thru another server or possible real-time av installed giving the 421 response. But the log clearly shows a google server response and merely google would know the reason. they could be rejecting you due to spf but their response really should say that although they are not required to.
